We’re proud to announce that Thrive Workplace has been listed as one of the best 2017 coworking spaces in the U.S. by Nomad Capitalist!
Nomad Capitalist helps location independent entrepreneurs find the best international strategies to legally reduce their taxes, live around the world and create wealth. The company employs a remote team that moves every few months, giving stars and ranking all the spaces and places they have worked from. What began as a game among coworkers evolved into much more. As time passed, the workers’ criteria have risen, checklists got longer, and attention to detail, design and overall vibe of the place got more sophisticated. The result is a carefully selected list of the top places to get your work done in the United States.
Thrive secured a place on this list by being a great place to work. In addition to being a family-owned coworking community that offers unique, flexible and member-centric work spaces, Thrive cultivates winning communities for driven, innovative people to succeed. As you may know, we expanded the lower-level office space at our Ballpark location last year in order to increase member offerings, including a media and editing lounge, as well as dedicated conference and training rooms.
Additionally, we partnered with six other organizations to create “The Venture Zone,” a membership-based program that brings local entrepreneurs, startups and mentors together into one central location. In order to support and accelerate entrepreneurial growth around the state, the workspace provides tools and other resources that an entrepreneur or startup company can draw on in order to function effectively and successfully.
We are looking forward to continuing to add amenities to the welcoming, supportive atmosphere of collaboration, innovation and success we’ve cultivated and aim to build on our distinguished community and continue to grow through 2017 and beyond.
While amenities such as free coffee and beer, WiFi access and printing capabilities are certainly a draw, it’s the community we’ve cultivated that sets us apart. Here are five reasons to consider joining a coworking community.
- Affordability
Coworking spaces like Thrive tend to offer myriad options for membership. Finding the coworking community that fits your budget has become easier with all of the choices available. Coworking spaces offer freelance workers and individual entrepreneurs the opportunity to work in a fully equipped office without having to worry about how much setting up an actual office costs.
- Flexibility
At coworking spaces, the ability to accommodate growth is easy. Increasing shared office space as your business grows has never been so effortless. Coworking spaces are not static, and they offer flexible membership options that allow your business to scale up as it expands. Memberships can be tailored to meet your unique needs and the flexibility that coworking spaces offer is just one reason to consider joining.
- Networking and Collaboration
Renting space in a shared office comes with the added bonus of being surrounded by like-minded, high-achieving and goal-oriented people. Coworking spaces tend to attract a wide variety of people, companies and industries that create a rather diverse ecosystem. Participating as a part of a coworking community means you are surrounded by potential partners, clients or mentors to bounce ideas off of and work with. For every tech startup, there’s a law practice or an app development company. Opportunities to collaborate and network have never been so simple.
- Ideal Location
Shared offices tend to be located in prime areas with access to transportation, coffee shops, restaurants, gyms and even places to shop in key cities. This means your clients won’t have a hard time finding you and your address will be centrally located in a prime location. If you had to rent your own office space, sacrificing location to save on monthly rent is a likely outcome and something that is avoided when you join a coworking space.
- Amenities You Don’t Know You Need
Coworking communities are well-versed in the needs of startups and small to medium-sized businesses. As a result, the majority of them offer a broad range of services that can help your business grow. These resources range from pitch competitions in front of investors and weekly social events for networking, to less glamorous tools like assistance with benefits, taxes and accounting as well as different health and wellness activities. At coworking spaces, events are regularly being held and amenities are constantly being added or improved upon for the benefit of members.
