THRIVE: Tell us about what your company does.

ALEX:

  • KissCam: We own and operate the iconic KissCam brand and are expanding it beyond the arena because since inception, it has been confined to the 60 Sec. slot on the jumbotron. We now have struck deals with online poker companies (creating a KissCam themed game), in a movie called the Breadwinner (May 2026 release) with Nate Bargatze and work with various teams around the sporting world launching KissCam activations.
  • King’s Coaching, my partner and I work with business’s and their owners to set up policies geared towards employee retention, being there own bank, key  man, etc.. 
  • AEV Energy: Purchase producing oil and gas properties in Long Beach, CA
THRIVE: How long have you been in business?

ALEX: 10 yrs

THRIVE: What inspired you to create your business?

ALEX: I don’t like to sit still so I am always dabbling in various things.

THRIVE: What was your biggest success in the past year?

ALEX: Outside of my 2nd child being born, it is taking care of my clients through Life Insurance.

THRIVE: How has Thrive supported your business?

ALEX: Everything, it is a great way to meet other people. The thing about Thrive is that it is such a social environment and there really is a community that you will not find in other co-working spots.

THRIVE: What’s your favorite piece of professional advice you’ve received?

ALEX: Be upfront when selling, that way you are not wasting anyone’s time and you can get an idea of how the conversation is going to go; then you can tailor it one way or the other.

THRIVE: What’s your favorite quote that would inspire other entrepreneurs and business leaders for 2025?

ALEX: Learn fast and keep going; Pivot if something isn’t working but always have that base that you can revert back to.
